You were created to REIGN!

From the beginning of time, we were created to reign and have dominion over animals, fish, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Gen. 1:26-28).

Your ex does not go in that category (lol).

As African American men and women there is a power that flows throughout our veins. There is a spirit (the Holy Spirit) that has guided and continues to guide us today in every area of our lives; if we allow him to. You see just because you and I were created to reign, does not mean we have been doing so. In this world, there are so many challenges and obstacles that we face that are designed to hinder and ultimately stop us from regaining our rightful place as Kings and Queens of our families, communities, and the world at-large. The definition of reign is the period of a person's or dynasty's occupation of the office of monarch of a nation, of a people or of a spiritual community. Another meaning of the word reign is to be in control over the circumstances of life, and not take the victim’s position. Each of us have been given a select number of years to speak, teach, learn, train, implement, empower, and give life to those we have been called to serve. I want to encourage each of us to think about how we have been reigning. If your reign has not been well, know that today is a new day and you can start over.

As you begin this new day, I also encourage each of us to take a special gift along for this journey. Its name is GRACE. Grace puts us in a position of authority and victory over sin, disease, fear, demonic oppression, poverty, anxiety, etc. These are some of the challenges and obstacles we will face here on the earth. You and I have been created to reign in life because Christ Jesus paid the price for us to have the victory every day.
